Rev. Dr. Larry Houff
Larry retired from active sevice in the ministry in 2006 to return to Trinity Lutheran Church, his home congregation. He has a Bachelor of Music Degree in Church Music from Witttenberg University, a Masters in Divinity, from Waterloo Lutheran Seminary, Waterloo, Ontario and a Doctor of Ministry degee from United Seminary, Dayton, Ohio. Larry served as a parish pastor in Springfield, Toledo and Canton, Ohio. He was Associate Pastor to the University at Wittenberg for 16 years. Larry and his wife Gundula spent their last year of ministry at Holden Village, in the Cascade Mountains of Washington state, where Larry served as Interim Village Pastor.
In addition to parish ministry, Larry served as Director of Music and Youth Work in his first two parishes, and continues his passion for Church Music as choir director in the early service at Trinity.
